Ingredients / Research

Saffron “Natural Painkiller”

The obtained data point to a multimodal mechanism of action for CSSE: An anti-inflammatory effect and a modulation, through different physiological pathways, of the electrical signal generated by the nociceptors. Further clinical trials are required to endorse the potential utilization of Moroccan saffron as a natural painkiller.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9144369/

Nigella Stativa

The unsaturated fatty acids in Nigella sativa such as oleic acid can relieve pain through inhibiting the activity of the cyclooxygenase enzyme (Huseini et al., 2016). In addition, thymoquinone inhibits arachidonic metabolism through the cyclooxygenase and 5-lipoxygenase pathway (Science Direct)

Curcumin “blocks Inflammatory markers”

Curcumin seems to target specific molecules or pathways that control the cell cycle. It also blocks inflammatory cytokines and enzymes, including cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), the target of the pain reliever celecoxib (Celebrex). That’s why studies have shown that it can be helpful for people with osteoarthritis (OA).

Vitamin E “decreases inflammation markers”

High doses of vitamin E were found to exhibit anti-inflammatory effects by decreasing C-reactive protein (CRP) and inhibiting the release of proinflammatory cytokines.

CBD

Research suggests CBD has anti-inflammatory properties and may help alleviate the symptoms of some skin conditions.
